Re-evaluate Your Purchasing Behaviour
Oftentimes, we go into auto-pilot when we make our regular purchases. This is a great opportunity to re-evaluate those purchases, and consciously try to change up the status quo by substituting in products from BIPOC businesses.

Explore BIPOC Businesses in the Community
Even if you don’t end up purchasing from them, it is helpful to learn about the BIPOC businesses that are operating in your community. Just having that familiarity may come in handy – and it may lead to a purchase sometime down the road.

Send Referrals to BIPOC Businesses
If you can’t purchase from a BIPOC business, the next best thing is to refer them business! Be an active source of referrals through social media shoutouts, giving 5-star ratings, or old-fashioned word-of-mouth. This will go a long way in supporting local BIPOC businesses!
