Anti-Racism Impact Lead
bravevoices@jellysocial.org

I bring 7 years of experience working on JEDID (justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, decolonization) initiatives with BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, people of color) communities as a founding member of a non-profit organization, called Jelly Social. I founded Jelly Social for one main purpose: to advocate for equitable and inclusive business environments where BIPOC professionals can thrive on our own terms, in our own voice, without compromise. My work with Jelly Social has taught me that the most sustainable approach to creating inclusive change is to start with our places of work first. This means creating a business environment where diverse individuals are empowered to speak about their experiences, educate their peers through open conversation, and seek support from their peers. When we take this approach, an amazing thing starts to happen; we start to take inclusivity out of the workplace and bring it to our homes and communities. My approach is very well documented in this Brave Voices Against Racism program.
